These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ecom-guide.com (the "Site") and the products and services offered through it by Ecom Guide, operated by Dmytro Lavryniuk ("Ecom Guide", "we", "us" or "our"). Please read them carefully. By using the Site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Who we are and what we offer
Ecom Guide provides online education for people building e-commerce businesses, including: the E-Com Course (an online video course delivered on our course platform at ecom-course.online), a book, a free niche guide, and limited 1:1 coaching. We may add, change or discontinue products at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Site and buy our products. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts and access
When you buy the course, an account is created for you on our course platform. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Course access is personal to you — you may not share, transfer, sell or provide your login or course materials to anyone else. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and, unless stated otherwise, do not include any taxes that may apply to you. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Where an instalment option is offered, you authorise us to charge each scheduled instalment to your payment method; a failed instalment payment may result in suspension of access until the balance is paid. We may change prices and promotional offers at any time, but changes do not affect purchases already completed.
5. Order confirmation and delivery
After a successful payment, we provision your course account and send your access details to the email address you provided. Digital products are delivered electronically; it is your responsibility to enter a correct email address and to check your spam folder. The book is sold and fulfilled through Amazon under Amazon's own terms.
6. Refunds
The E-Com Course is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. Refund eligibility and the request process are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property and licence
All content on the Site and within our products — including videos, text, lessons, graphics, downloads, the book and our brand — is owned by Ecom Guide / Dmytro Lavryniuk or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. On purchase, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the course content for your own learning. You may not copy, reproduce, record, republish, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from our content, or use it to build a competing product, without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share your account, login or course materials with others;
- copy, download (except where expressly allowed), scrape or redistribute our content;
- reverse engineer, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or course platform;
- use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes;
- upload malicious code or infringe the rights of others.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this section.
9. No guarantee of results
Our products are educational. We do not promise that you will earn any particular income or achieve any particular result. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your effort, skills, market conditions and decisions. Please read our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Third-party services and links
The Site relies on and links to third-party services (such as Stripe, Amazon, Instagram and our course platform). We are not responsible for third-party services, their content or their availability, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
11. User submissions
If you send us messages, feedback or other content (for example through the contact form), you grant us the right to use it to operate and improve our business. Do not send us confidential information you do not want us to use, and do not submit unlawful or infringing content.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ecom Guide and Dmytro Lavryniuk will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ecom Guide and Dmytro Lavryniuk from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or products.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or products at any time if you breach these Terms, without refund where the breach involves misuse of our content. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification — will continue to apply.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the Owner's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting hello@dmytrolavryniuk.com. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the Owner's place of business, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site or products after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
